Twenty years of excellent work – from Innovation Assistant to Director of Research and Development!

Dr. Anett Ullrich is celebrating her 20th anniversary at PRIMACYT. “When we were a small start-up company over 20 years ago, we hired Anett Ullrich as an innovation assistant. At that time, nobody could have foreseen the outstanding impact that this personel decision would have on the development of PRIMACYT,” said Managing Director Dieter Runge.

We were fortunate that her position was subsidised by the Technologieberatungsinstitut (TBI, Technology Consultancy Institute) of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, with 55% in the first year and 30 % in the second. Even back then, the state subsidised the recruitment of women more than men.

Anett Ullrich has made a significant contribution to the development of PRIMACYT. Without her great commitment and motivation, our company would not have developed successfully. She has taken on many roles and responsibilities over the years and is leading the company´s research and development since many years.

“We would also like to thank Prof. Dr. Jan G. Hengstler from IFADO in Dortmund, who supervised Ms Ullrich´s dissertation, and Prof. Dr. Dr. George K. Michalopoulos from the University of Pittsburgh, who supported her with an 18-month research placement in the Department of Pathology.”
